 |  Moving into the Netherlands is generally a challenge when learning Dutch is concerned. Although Dutch people are good with languages and many of them speak English, learning Dutch is key to better understand the locals, their culture, make friends and improve your experience while being in the Netherlands... plus what better opportunity to learn Dutch than being among Dutch people!Dutch is not an easy language, the grammatical rules are not straightforward and there seem to be more exceptions than rules, nevertheless after taking a 5 day intensive course with Dorte and Anneke (DnA) I see myself much more comfortable with Dutch, being able to have conversations and to attend long meetings while still understanding the content and participating actively. The course itself went very well, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the interaction with the teachers. The techniques used are entertaining, they keep you actively involved and you can feel how your Dutch progresses with the course. Everyday Dorte and Anneke had a surprise prepared for me, they used some of my own published work and subjects related to my field making the contents of the course relevant also to my daily activities. Overall a great course, one of the best I've taken, great teachers and the only but I have is that the days went so fast. I wish I could follow the course once more. | I needed a basic knowledge of German for a new job I was applying for. I studied first on my own for 6 months and the 5 days intensive course were fundamental to improve and to reach the required level for the new job! | Ik heb diverse Nederlandse cursussen gedaan. Dit keer heeft mijn bedrijf mij de mogelijkheid gegeven om een DNA cursus te volgen. Het is anders dan de cursus voor buitenlanders die ik heb gevolgd. De docenten zijn heel professioneel en gebruiken de nieuwste methoden om een taal te leren. Ik heb een specifieke cursus op mijn niveau gedaan. Anneke en Dorte hebben alle lessen aangepast aan mijn werkelijke behoeften. Ik heb nooit zo veel plezier in een cursus gehad. Het was geen moeite om thuis de oefeningen af te maken en de lessen te volgen. De docenten kunnen ook heel professioneel de psychologische aspecten van de student aanpakken zonder inbreuk te maken op de persoon.  | I did an introductory course to Dutch, spread over two weeks, for three hours a day. I found the course content to be relevant and useful. DnA’s approach was tailored specifically to my needs, and was modified during the course to reflect my interests and learning requirements. Dorte and Anneke made learning Dutch enjoyable, which is greatly to their credit. I found them to be effective, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Their enthusiasm, humour, rigour, and professionalism – combined with excursions and contact with other native Dutch speakers – made the course a pleasure to complete. Keep up the good work! | We followed an intensive 5-day French course. During the week, we were given vocabulary, grammar and sentences, as well as practical exercises. The course met my demands, even if in hindsight I think that 5 consecutive days may have been a bit too much, when you are an absolute beginner in the language. We were taught by Astrid, Valéry and Anke. They are nice and very knowledgeable teachers, who were also very helpful. The lessons were given at Buitengoed HagenHorst, a quiet and private space, where we could also study after hours. All in all, I am very happy with the course. DnA Languages knows what you need. | I could have a private course at home. The teacher has adapted the content to my level and has allowed me to really improve my English. The ambiance was really kind, and we could seriously work on every skill (for instance : grammar, vocabulary etc.). I would recommend this course to everybody! | Wij hebben een intensieve 5-daagse training Frans gevolgd. Afgezien van de miscommunicatie over de eerste lunch was de training goed georganiseerd. De inhoud van de training was heel erg goed. Verspreid over de week kregen we vocabulaire, grammatica, zinnetjes en praktijk gerelateerde opdrachten. De cursus sloot aan op mijn behoeften, alleen vond ik achteraf dat één hele week misschien een beetje veel was als je voor het eerst met de taal aan de slag gaat. We hadden les van Astrid, Valerie en Anke. Het zijn leuke, spontane docenten die weten waar ze over praten, heel behulpzaam zijn en mij een goede opleiding hebben gegeven. We hadden les op Buitengoed HagenHorst op het kantoor van DnA Languages. Een rustige ruimte, privé en het was fijn dat we er ook 's avonds konden werken. Al met al ben ik erg tevreden met de cursus. DnA Languages weet wat je nodig hebt. Ze leiden je op aan de hand van je eigen behoefte. Voor ons was het een eerste kennismaking met de Franse taal. We komen zeker een keer terug.  | Ik heb een maatwerktraining schrijfvaardigheid gevolgd voor het schrijven van beleidsadviezen. De training bestond uit 10 bijeenkomsten, waarvan 5 face-to-face en 5 telefonisch. De organisatie van de training was uitstekend, erg geordend. Verder was het ook flexibel, want regelmatig werden (op mijn verzoek) bijeenkomsten verplaatst. Het contact met DnA Languages was heel plezierig en informeel. De inhoud van de training was zeer goed afgestemd op mijn vraag en daardoor werkte ik precies aan datgene waar ik aandacht aan wilde besteden. Ik vond het contact met de docente ook erg goed, Anneke Siemons was professioneel, deskundig en een plezierige trainster om les van te krijgen. | Na mijn besluit om een half jaar in Rome te gaan studeren kreeg ik het toch even benauwd: al mijn lessen en (mondelinge!) tentamens zouden in het Italiaans zijn. Ik had ivm tentamens maar zeer beperkt de tijd, maar Anna Paola heeft me in vijf ochtenden tijd een stevige basis gegeven in de italiaanse taal. We hebben vooral het spreken en luisteren goed geoefend, dat zou ik immers in het begin het hardst nodig hebben. Na aankomst in Rome kon ik me goed redden en werd ik zelfs regelmatig complimentjes over mijn taalgebruik. … De training was goed georganiseerd en volledig toegespitst op wat ik wilde en op wat ik nodig had om te leren. Ik vond het heel fijn dat het programma volledig in samenspraak met mij werd samengesteld, en dat regelmatig teruggekoppeld werd of ik er nog iets in miste. [Het contact met DnA was] uitstekend, ze reageerde heel snel op mijn aanmelding, en het kennismakende gesprek was boven verwachting.
