My name is Silvia. I'm 48 years old and have been living in the Netherlands for 22 years, 20 of which in Delft. I've been vorn and raised in Milan, but since I was 20 my sense of adventure urged me abroad. I worked in Greece for some years at a hotel club with a lot of pleasure, until I met my husband which completely changed my life. His name is now mine as well: Coenen., my maiden name is Dellaghezza. When I forst came to Holland I did my best to integrate as well as possible: I learned the language, invited Dutch friends, never complained about the eather... In short: I have learned to love Holland. When my children were big enough and I had more time for myself, about fifteen years ago, I started giving Italian lessons. This is when I realized you can fall in love with one country while at the same time feeling a never dying love for your home country. I love my job, I love passing on the language and culture of your home country. |
