Anke

My name is Anke Minnee – de Koning and I live in Katwijk.
I have been a French teacher since twentieth, I took my education at the School for Languages in The Hague. The first five years I taught on a school for secondary education after which I transferred to adult education for amongst others K&O and the association  for th elderly Katrijn.

Teaching is my passion! People enjoy following my lessons and remain faithful students because - as they say - they learn a lot and there are regular outbursts of laughter during the lessons... 
Because of my personal approach to teaching, my students gain lots of confidence which helps enhance their oral skills. I have been organizing city trips to Paris for years now, for both small and large groups. In these yearly trips the famous French tennis tournament Roland Garos is always on the agenda. I have also travelled to France with a student to her residence there, giving her exercises and things to do in French on the spot, thus showing her the practicalities of the French lessons: un grand succès!
Since 1991 I am a wedding official in Katwijk. I have also done weddings that were mostly done in French, and I also had the honour to marry couples in France, Spain and Italy (the latter two with a translator of course). You will understand that those are wonderful experiences!
