After having worked in 'health care' for years, I decided to change my career halfway through the nineties. I became a Dutch language trainer and I have taught various groups since then. The possibilities as a language trainer are endless, and working with people from different backgrounds and cultures never ceases to inspire and challenge me. I believe that a language is like a key. Give it to somebody and it will open doors for them.

I have taught many different people, from house wives and men to IT specialists and actuaries. I received my Celta (Cambridge Certificate for teaching English to Adults) 6 years ago. After that I lived and worked in Spain for two years.

This is when I first noticed my disposition for language teaching because I helped many of my non-English speaking friends with their English. I enjoyed it very much, also because it brought me into contact with various cultures.
