Full immersion

Full immersion courses are Dutch language courses for students of all levels. The mornings and afternoons are used for lessons and study time. Meals are spent together with the other students to practice Dutch in a day to day context. In the evenings various activities will be organized with a typical Dutch twist for a complete language experience. Fun and efficiency go hand in hand, as you are submerged in Dutch from morning to evening!

Programmes for beginners to intermediate levels
The morning programme consists of three group lessons. In the afternoon, students can have private lessons or use the time to study.

Full Immersion - group program
FG 3 : 3 group lessons per day
FG 4 : 3 grouplessons + 1 private lesson per day
FG 5 : 3 group lessons + 2 private lessons per day
FG 6 : 3 grouplessons + 3 private lessons per day

Every evening students participate in various activities to experience the Dutch culture in a different way.

A full immersion course consists of:

  • a personal intake
  • 15 hours of group or private lessons in the morning 
  • possibillity of additional private lessons in the afternoon 
  • time to study in an inspirational and relaxing atmosphere 
  • shared meals to practise Dutch in a different context 
  • hotel accomodations at Buitengoed HagenHorst

Group courses

If your company has a group of employees with shared language needs we can organize a group course. The weekly sessions are thematic and are based on the communal interests and needs of the group. Participants need to have a compatible level in the target language. For each participant there will be a personal intake to determine their level, and to discuss their needs and goals.

Group courses are offered in 20 or 30 hour packages. If necessary the duration of the course can be extended.

In-company courses

All courses, with the exception of the full immersion courses, can be done in-company. 

There are no additional costs for in-company courses, except the travelling expenses of € 0,39 ct p/km.

Intensive 5-day language course

If you want to improve or freshen up your language skills in a short period of time, we offer you an intensive individual language course. The course is five days: from Mondays to Friday, or from Wednesday to Tuesday. It consists of 30 hours of private lessons and is entirely aimed at your individual learning goals and specific needs. The customized program is made after a personal intake, in which your level and needs are determined. 

To increase efficiency, we offer you the possibility of staying at the hotel. Hotel Buitengoed HagenHorst offers you the possibility to have breakfast, lunch and diner in a warm and welcoming environment, close to the center of The Hague and Wassenaar.

Private courses

For students with specific languages needs we provide tailor-made private courses. The course can be organised flexibly, to suit your availability. After a personal intake, we design the program which is based entirely on your needs and goals. The program is always discussed with the student before the start of the course, and can always be altered during the course to meet any changing needs. 

We offer two basic private courses. The PT20; consisting of 20 hours of private lessons; and the PT30, consisting of 30 hours of private lessons.

Skype

If you have little time to travel or if you live far away and you'd still like to have language lessons, Skype lessons offer a great opportunity. Just like in all DnA courses, your needs are the basis of these lessons. With Skype you can train your listening, speaking and writing skills. It is also possible to combine one-on-one lessons with Skype lessons.

Workshops

Workshops are short, dynamic and thematically organized group courses. Based on actual situations in your working environment, the newly acquired skills can be applied instantly in daily situations. Groups consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 participants.

Writing Courses

We offer courses to improve your writing skills for all your professional communication. During the intake, which is both written and oral, your learning goals will be determined. Duration and frequency of the course depend on the level and goals of the student. The main focus of the course lies on recognizing and developing your own personal style, and using your specific strengths throughout the writing process.

In the course you will be working on the style used in documents of your organisation, structures, vocabulary and commonly used phrases. The training will be based on your own material, such as letters, emails and reports. This hands-on approach ensures a visible improvement, directly applicable in real life.
